Too often leaders and managers blame the culture of their organisation for not being engaged, or focused on performance improvement. Yet it is these same leaders and managers who – through their behaviours – that set the culture themselves.
So many leaders and managers use KPIs in a way that creates a culture where the desire to use performance measurement almost becomes almost a phobia…
People disengage from measurement rather than using it as a tool to work on their own performance improvement goals.
